UAF: The Russian army is preparing to break through in southern Donetsk.
The occupiers from Russia are trying to break through to the south of the Donetsk region, reported spokesperson of the Southern Defense Forces, Colonel Vladislav Voloshin. He noted that the Russians are actively conducting reconnaissance and preparing for offensive actions in the Orikhiv and Huliaipole directions.
"Soon, there is a high probability that they will begin offensive actions, trying to infiltrate our defenses," Voloshin warned.
Voloshin explained that the reconnaissance of the Ukrainian Defense Forces provided information about the preparation of enemy assault groups. The enemy is actively using UAVs, conducting aerial and engineering reconnaissance, and also trying to destroy the firepower of the Defense Forces. In the Vremivka direction, the enemy is using armored vehicles that Ukrainian soldiers managed to destroy.
According to Voloshin, the enemy is trying to break through to the south of the Donetsk region, where Velyka Novosilka is located - one of the largest settlements in this area.
It is worth recalling that Russian invaders have already advanced in the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions and in Kursk. They have also occupied Nova Illinka and advanced in several directions. The occupiers are approaching Kurakhove and nearby villages. The village of Illinka was completely captured by the enemy. In recent weeks, the occupiers have been trying to seize the city of Kurakhove before winter arrives.
The conflict in eastern Ukraine continues, where Russian occupiers continue their aggressive actions and violate international agreements.
