Ukrainian Armed Forces regained lost positions near Kreminna, enemy advanced in several directions – ISW maps.
Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region have regained lost positions near Kreminna, while Russian forces have advanced near Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Velika Novosilka. This was reported in the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) report published on November 27.
UAF Operation in the Kursk Region
According to the ISW report, Russian troops continue their offensive in the Kursk region, but there is no confirmation of this yet. Geolocated videos show how a Ukrainian brigade repels an attack by a Russian platoon near Korenevo. Russian sources reported the advancement of Russian troops in the areas of Novoivanivka, Kamyshivka, Daryne, and Kreminne, but this information has not been confirmed. The report also notes that the Russian 810th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade is operating in the area of Suja.
Neither Russian nor Ukrainian sources report on the fighting in the Hlushkovsky district.
Kharkiv Region
Ukrainian forces repelled the advance of Russian troops to the northwest of Kharkiv. Russian troops were conducting operations in the area of Kozacha Lopan and Kudiivka, as well as in the vicinity of Vovchansk. As a result of a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group trying to infiltrate into Ukraine, Ukrainian forces engaged the enemy in the area of the 'Hoptivka-Nekhotiyivka' checkpoint. Russian forces are also facing difficulties in movement due to Ukrainian defenses and the lack of thoroughfares. Ukrainian defenders are also repelling attacks by Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the border area of Kharkiv region and Russia.
Luhansk Region
Ukrainian forces have regained previously lost positions west of Kreminna due to Russian offensive operations. Russian sources claim the capture of Kopanka, but this information has not been confirmed. Russian troops have also advanced in the area of Petropavlivka. ISW confirms the advance of Russian troops in the area of Zhovte. Russian forces are also operating in the area of Novomynsk, Synkivka, Novoiehorivka, Cherneshchyna, Andriivka, Druzhliubivka, Makiivka, Hrekivka, Terniv, and Yampilivka.
Donetsk Region
Russian troops continue their offensive in the northern direction. Ukrainian defenders report attacks by Russian forces near Hryhorivka. According to the commander of a Ukrainian brigade, Russian forces are attacking in small groups supported by aviation and artillery. At the same Time, Ukrainian forces report low levels of discipline among Russian soldiers and significant losses for Russian troops. Russian troops are also conducting offensives in the Chasiv Yar direction.
South
Russian troops continue their attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region, but there is currently no confirmation of success in their actions. Offensive operations are also ongoing in eastern Kherson region, but there have been no changes on the front line thus far.
The enemy continues intense shelling and attacks. Over the last day, one missile strike, 37 aviation strikes, and more than 700 kamikaze drone strikes have been recorded.
