The Armed Forces of Ukraine seized a stronghold of the Russians in Kursk.

The soldiers of the 225th separate assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated a company stronghold of the Russian invaders. After preparing artillery and drones, the infantry stormed the fortifications using various means. Upon completion of the operation, the soldiers gained control over an important defensive point that was in the hands of the enemy.

«This company stronghold covered an important direction and was well-prepared for defense: there were bunkers, trenches, and firing points. Some work had to be done by the artillery, but after that, we managed to take control of this territory,» the military added.

The commander of the Russian troops prohibited the rescue of wounded Ukrainian prisoners of war near the frontline. This indicates an intentional killing of the wounded, which has a systematic character, concerning the army of the aggressor country, according to representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As a result of a successful operation in the Kursk region, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated an important defensive point previously held by the Russian invaders. At the same time, it has been revealed that the Russian military systematically refused to provide assistance to wounded Ukrainian soldiers, indicating a practice of targeted killings of the wounded.
