Russian army losses have crossed a new threshold: over 1.2 million destroyed.
According to ТСН: As of January 9, the losses of Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine have reached 1,216,930 personnel. Over the last day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1,030 occupiers.
According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to January 9, 2026, are approximately as follows:

Earlier, it was reported that the occupiers are trying to break through to the village of Hryshyne in the Donetsk region to disrupt logistics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine supporting operations in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
The situation at the front remains tense. The continuation of hostilities indicates that both sides are unwavering in their strategic plans. Information about losses and attempts by the occupiers to break into important settlements confirms the activity and coordinated actions of the Ukrainian forces in all directions.
