Russia’s daily military losses hit 1,120 as total troop casualties surpass 1.4 million.
Russian troop and equipment losses mount as Ukraine reports new daily toll
According to UATV: On July 14, 2026, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian defense forces eliminated 1,120 Russian soldiers and destroyed 46 artillery systems over the past 24 hours. These figures highlight the continuation of intense combat operations and the heavy toll on the opposing side.
Since the war began on February 24, 2022, overall Russian combat losses have reached staggering levels. The total number of Russian military personnel killed now stands at approximately 1,421,810, with 1,120 of those casualties occurring in just the last day. Equipment losses over the entire conflict are equally severe:
- 12,131 tanks
- 24,932 armored combat vehicles
- 45,911 artillery systems
- 1,931 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 1,491 air defense systems
- 437 aircraft
- 353 helicopters
Ukrainian forces have also maintained a steady campaign against enemy drones. Since the start of the war, over 1,500 hostile drones have been shot down, while the total number of operational-tactical UAVs lost by the Russian side has reached 407,201 units.
Russia may open another front in Ukraine after the elections in September.

These figures underscore that active hostilities in Ukraine are ongoing and continue to carry serious consequences for both parties. The substantial losses suffered by Russian troops point to the high level of resistance from Ukrainian forces, raising concerns about Russia’s next moves in the region—especially amid speculation about a possible new front. This situation reinforces the need for continued international support for Ukraine as the conflict escalates.
