Current Situation on the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk Fronts

According to Espreso.tv: Heavy fighting continues on the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk front lines, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are engaged in a critical struggle for key territories. The main battle is concentrated around the fortified area of Rai-Oleksandrivka, where Russian forces are advancing and expanding the combat zone toward this strategic location. Notably, the occupiers have seized approximately 2.5 square kilometers of fields near Minkivka.

On the Dobropillia front, troop rotations have occurred, with the 239th Tank Regiment redeployed to reinforce positions. Meanwhile, on the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian forces have achieved significant gains, liberating six villages:

  • Ternove
  • Novoheorhiivka
  • Vorone
  • Sichneve
  • Zaporizke
  • Maliivka

Additionally, defense forces have liberated the village of Novokhatske.

The AFU is pressing forward, approaching the Russian fortified area in Komar. At the same time, Ukrainian troops have paused in Novohryhorivka, located about 2 kilometers from the Velyka Novosilka–Huliaipole highway. These developments underscore the ongoing tense situation on the front, where both sides are striving to hold and expand their positions.

Control Over Key Territories

A combat map from July 11–18 illustrates the current front-line dynamics, highlighting the ongoing struggle for control over vital areas.

The situation on the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk fronts remains extremely volatile, with both sides engaged in active combat. The AFU continues to launch counterattacks and liberate settlements, demonstrating their determination to fight for strategic positions. Meanwhile, Russian forces are attempting to consolidate their hold on captured territories, which could further escalate the conflict. Control over these districts is crucial for both parties, as it will shape the course of future military operations in the region.
