According to UATV: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on March 31 that 140 combat engagements took place over the past 24 hours, with enemy activity concentrated in several key areas, including Kupiansk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole. This marks another intense day of fighting as Russian forces continue their offensive operations across multiple sectors.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops launched 11 attacks, while the Kostiantynivka direction saw 17 assaults. Ukrainian defenders managed to repel 29 storming actions by the aggressor in the Pokrovsk area. Additionally, the Huliaipole sector experienced 13 enemy attacks.

Enemy Activity Across Various Fronts

The situation on other fronts varied:

  • The Kramatorsk sector remained relatively quiet;
  • One combat clash was recorded in both the Northern Sloboda and Kursk directions;
  • In the Southern Sloboda sector, the enemy attempted three breakthroughs;
  • The Lyman direction saw four attacks;
  • The Sloviansk sector also faced four enemy attempts to advance;
  • No offensive actions were reported in the Orikhiv and Dnipro directions.

These figures highlight the ongoing intensity of combat on Ukrainian frontlines, where the adversary is striving to expand its foothold, while Ukrainian forces are taking measures to contain them. The situation remains tense, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to carry out their mission of defending the state.

The sustained combat operations across multiple directions indicate that the conflict remains highly active, with persistent efforts by the aggressor to strengthen its positions. It is important to note that Ukrainian forces continue to successfully execute their tasks, holding back the enemy’s advance on key frontline sections.

This situation demands close attention from military and political analysts, as developments on the front could significantly impact overall stability in the region.
