Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole Sectors See Heaviest Fighting: 148 Combat Clashes in a Single Day.
Military Operations on March 22
According to UATV: A total of 148 combat engagements were recorded across multiple front-line sectors on March 22, with the most intense clashes concentrated in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole areas. On that day, Ukrainian defense forces carried out 58 assault operations, successfully striking six locations where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated.
The adversary launched 124 artillery and mortar attacks on Ukrainian positions over the 24-hour period. In the northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, two airstrikes were reported, indicating an escalation of hostile activity in those regions. On the southern Slobozhanskyi axis, occupying forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses eight times, while five attacks were recorded in the Kupiansk sector.
Front-Line Situation
In the Lyman direction, the enemy also conducted five assaults, whereas on the Sloviansk front, Ukrainian troops repelled seven attempts to advance. A single effort by the aggressor to improve their position in the Kramatorsk sector was thwarted. The Kostiantynivka axis witnessed 17 attacks, and on the Pokrovsk front, Ukrainian forces halted 28 assault operations by the enemy.
Additionally, 13 attacks occurred in the Huliaipole sector, and one assault was successfully repelled in the Orikhiv area. One unsuccessful enemy attack was noted in the Prydniprovskyi sector. Meanwhile, no offensive groups were detected forming in the Volyn and Polissia sectors, suggesting a relatively stable situation in those regions.
Overall, March 22 marked a day of heavy combat along numerous front-line sectors, where Ukrainian forces continue to actively resist enemy aggression. This level of activity underscores the ongoing escalation of the conflict, particularly as occupiers attempt to consolidate their positions and launch new offensives. Given the large scale of military engagements, the front-line situation remains tense, and future developments will hinge on the efforts of both sides in their confrontation and defense of positions.
