The government allocated 19,400 UAH for heating in frontline regions: who will receive assistance.
The government has decided to provide support to residents of frontline regions who are in difficult conditions due to proximity to the conflict zone. They will receive assistance in the form of social payments, as well as support for farmers and critically important enterprises.
The Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported in her Telegram channel about the financial support that Ukrainians from frontline regions will receive this year.
Support for utility bill payments
The government allocated 19,400 UAH for the purchase of firewood, coal, or peat for heating for each household in frontline areas. In addition, they will compensate for 100 kWh of electricity per person each month, Svyrydenko reported.
Support for farmers and critically important enterprises
Farmers working in combat zones are entitled to a subsidy of 1,000 UAH per hectare, as well as grants for gardening and greenhouse arrangements with reimbursement of up to 80% of expenses. Critically important enterprises will have the right to reserve up to 100% of their employees who are subject to military registration.

The government has taken important steps to support residents of frontline regions by providing them with assistance for utility bill payments, farmers, and critically important enterprises. This will help ease the lives of people who are living in the most difficult conditions due to military actions in their region.
