During the bombardments of enemy positions, Ukrainian soldiers face infantry assaults and mechanized attacks, yet do not retreat. Paratroopers of the 82nd Brigade successfully repelled a mass breakthrough attempt by an enemy column that was trying to enter their positions.
Successful repulsion of the attack
Artem Kulachevych, the deputy commander of the drone battalion of the 82nd Airborne Brigade, described the results of this defensive operation. During the battle, Ukrainian troops destroyed six units of enemy armored vehicles.
The enemy's attack occurred according to the standard scheme, but their plans were thwarted. The enemy equipment was destroyed, and some groups of the opponent found themselves in a dangerous situation. Ukrainian defenders are actively conducting operations to search for and eliminate the remnants of enemy forces.
Kulachevych warns that the Russian side may attempt to send reinforcements to regain its positions and prepare a new attack. He emphasizes that the opponent will not stop in their attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense.
