Construction of a school shelter in Ladyzhyn has not started with 90 million UAH allocated: where is the money?.
The construction of a shelter for Lyceum No. 4 in Ladyzhyn has not yet started
According to inkorr.com: In Ladyzhyn, Lyceum No. 4 still does not have a shelter for 600 participants, although the city authorities signed a contract for its construction in April 2024 for over 77 million UAH.
The agreement with LLC 'Center-Montazh-Energo' included the creation of premises for students and teachers, as well as storage and technical areas. However, the work has not yet begun, although it was planned to complete it by September 2025.
'The purchase was officially marked as being conducted under the Ukraine Facility program, which means with international or donor funding.'
In June 2025, a new tender was announced with numerous changes in price and construction conditions. However, actual construction work has still not begun.
Possible problems and risks for Ladyzhyn
Experts point to risks associated with the lack of a modern shelter for the educational institution. This may result from ineffective use of allocated funds and insufficient ability of the authorities to solve this problem. If the funding is not used effectively, the city may end up with only a partial shelter or another unfinished construction.
In total, over 90 million UAH allocated for the construction of a shelter for Lyceum No. 4 remains unused, and students and teachers of Lyceum No. 4 have to wait for the provision of safe shelter.
The situation with the construction of the shelter in Ladyzhyn highlights serious problems in implementing state programs aimed at ensuring the safety of educational institutions. In today's conditions, it is important not only to have allocated funds on paper but also to quickly implement them to prevent any dangers for children and teachers.
