According to Espreso.tv: Viktor Yanukovych, the former Ukrainian president who fled Kyiv in 2014, continues to enjoy a protected life in Russia, with his residence in Sochi guarded by the Federal Guard Service (FSO). A new investigation sheds light on his family's wealth and ties to Russian security agencies.

Fresh Investigation Uncovers Details of Yanukovych's Life in Russia

A probe by Toronto Television reveals newly uncovered facts about Viktor Yanukovych's existence in Russia, focusing on his connections with Russian intelligence, properties in Sochi, and the activities of his relatives. More than 12 years after departing from Mezhyhirya, Yanukovych escaped Ukraine by helicopter in 2014, accompanied by 15 former members of the Ukrainian State Guard Service.

Yanukovych's Russian Connections and Property

Among those who fled with Yanukovych was Kostyantyn Kobzar, his former security chief, who now serves in Russia's Federal Guard Service (FSO). Since 2015, Kobzar and 14 of his subordinates have been registered at 10 Furmanov Street in Sochi. Yanukovych's primary residence, shared with his partner Lyubov Polezhay (Sadikova), is situated inside the gated complex 'Blahodat', which covers three hectares.

“The information was obtained through analysis of Russian state registries,” said Anatoliy Ostapenko.
