Japanese company Prodrone from Nagoya plans to start supplying Ukraine with specialized drones for mine detection from 2025.
This is reported by Nikkei.
According to the publication, Prodrone will cooperate with Tokyo consulting firm Padeco to implement this commercial project.
It is noted that Japanese demining drones will be able to fly at a height of only 50 cm above the ground.
It is planned that Ukrainian specialists will integrate artificial intelligence technologies into these drones. Thanks to AI, drones will be able to create interactive maps of mine locations.
This project is an important step in improving the efficiency and safety of demining areas of Ukraine affected by hostilities.
