Russian troops captured Hrabovske in Sumy region: more than 50 civilians deported.
According to ТСН: Approximately 100 Russian soldiers invaded the territory of Hrabovske village, located in the Sumy region, and attempted to advance towards Ryasne.

Currently, active hostilities are ongoing in the village. According to a representative of the group, the enemy attack was unexpected. The Russian military entered the territory of Hrabovske with the aim of seizing the village and advancing towards Ryasne.
“Currently, Russian units are consolidating in the southern part of Hrabovske. Ukrainian forces are trying to push them out of their positions. Battles are ongoing in the village,”
– Trehubov noted.
Control over border settlements
He also emphasized that settlements located directly on the border with the Russian Federation can only be secured if a control zone for Ukrainian military is established several kilometers deep into the aggressor's territory.
It should be noted that earlier the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed a breakthrough of the border in the Sumy region when Russian troops began an offensive in the area of Hrabovske. Under pressure from the enemy, the Defense Forces were forced to retreat from several positions.
After capturing the village, the occupiers kidnapped and forcibly transported over fifty Ukrainian citizens to Russia, mostly elderly people who had previously refused evacuation.
The President of Ukraine confirmed the fact of the capture and deportation of residents from the border village of Hrabovske. According to him, a group of Ukrainian servicemen also fell into the hands of Russian occupiers.
