Auchan, Metro and Varus changed prices for cereals in early December: how much do buckwheat, rice, and pasta cost.

Prices for cereals and pasta in Ukraine have risen

According to the Minfin portal, prices for buckwheat, rice, and pasta in Ukraine increased at the beginning of December. Last month, there was already a price rise for cereals, but the situation did not change at the beginning of winter.

Buckwheat rose in price from 31.29 UAH/kg to 33.02 UAH/kg. Auchan offers buckwheat for 27.90 UAH/kg, while MegaMarket sells it for 40.00 UAH/kg.

The price for steamed rice increased from 67.25 UAH/kg to 72.85 UAH/kg, while round rice remained at the same level – 69.47 UAH/kg. Long rice became cheaper by a few kopecks – 58.20 UAH/kg.

Pasta decreased in price by 5 kopecks, now costing 33.53 UAH/kg. The cheapest option is available at Metro for 27.90 UAH/kg, while Auchan offers it for 41.40 UAH/kg.
