Major Fires Erupt in Zaporizhzhia
According to Novyny.live: A Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia has caused extensive fires and left one person injured. The assault ignited apartments on the 7th and 8th floors of a nine-story residential building and also set a shopping center ablaze, where the fire covered an area of 60 square meters. This attack is part of a wider pattern of strikes on Ukrainian cities that has intensified in recent months.
Emergency crews are currently operating at five different sites to manage the aftermath of the strikes. The damage includes:
- 19 multi-story buildings;
- four private homes;
- non-residential premises.
The incident has also left more than 500 homes without heating.
