Assault on Zaitseve Community
According to TSN.ua: On March 16, Russian forces launched an attack on the Zaitseve community in the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in two fatalities and seven injuries. Among the wounded are three children: two girls aged 8 and 17, and a 17-year-old boy. Three victims were hospitalized, with doctors describing their condition as moderate. The others received outpatient treatment.
The shelling damaged a school and destroyed at least 10 private homes. Rescue workers recovered the bodies of two deceased individuals from the rubble, one of whom was identified as Oleksandr Hanzha. According to reports, air defense units shot down or suppressed 194 enemy drones. Meanwhile, 16 strike drones hit 10 locations, and debris fell at 11 other sites.

This attack on the Zaitseve community is part of the ongoing armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which continues to cause significant human and material losses. Despite the efforts of Ukraine's air defense, risks to civilians remain high, underscoring the need for international support in protecting innocent people and rebuilding infrastructure.
