Russian Strike on Odesa: Three Injured, Residential Buildings Damaged.
Odesa Attack and Its Aftermath
According to UATV: On March 19, 2023, a Russian attack on Odesa left three people injured. Two of the victims were hospitalized, while a third received medical treatment at the scene. The shelling partially destroyed apartments on the 18th and 19th floors of a 25-story residential building. Additionally, 14 houses and a university dormitory in Odesa were damaged.
Shelling in Sumy Region
The Odesa attack occurred amid ongoing shelling in the Sumy region, where four people were injured. The strikes hit administrative buildings, warehouses, apartment blocks, vehicles, and energy infrastructure. Over the past day, the Russian army shelled 26 populated areas in Sumy region.
This situation underscores the continuation of military hostilities and their impact on civilians, who are increasingly becoming victims of the conflict. The security situation in Ukraine remains tense, raising concerns for civilian safety and threatening urban infrastructure.
