Deadly Attacks in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
According to UATV: On June 22, 2023, a 77-year-old woman lost her life and nine others were injured as a result of Russian attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region. These strikes were part of more than 50 assaults carried out by the Russian military across four districts, using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs. The Dnipropetrovsk region has been a frequent target amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Impact on Local Communities
The heaviest damage occurred in the Nikopol district, where five people were wounded, including a 79-year-old woman who remains in serious condition. In the Synelnykove district, a 51-year-old man was injured but did not require hospitalization. An infrastructure facility was also damaged in the Verkhnodniprovsk community. Meanwhile, in the Kryvyi Rih district, shelling affected the Hrushivka and Zelenodolsk communities, leaving three people injured.
