Emergency power outages introduced in Sumy region: what is happening with the energy system.
According to inkorr.com: In the Sumy region, according to the order of 'Ukrenergo', emergency outage schedules have been introduced. This information was disclosed by 'Glavcom' referring to 'Sumyoblenergo'.
The reason for the introduction of emergency outage schedules is the consequences of the Russian attack on the energy infrastructure. Currently, power outages have affected ten groups of consumers.
As is known, emergency outage schedules are applied in emergency situations when it is necessary to urgently reduce the amount of power consumed from the grid over a very short period. In such cases, the duration of the power outage cannot be predicted because it is an emergency situation. The main reason for applying any restrictions is the military aggression of Russia against Ukraine and damage to energy facilities as a result of shelling by the Russian army.
Consequences of enemy attacks in Kyiv
It should be noted that on the night of October 10, Kyiv was again subjected to an attack. Damage to residential buildings and civil infrastructure facilities was recorded in several areas of the city.
In the Pechersk district, fragments from enemy shells caused a fire in a multi-story building. Rescuers saved twenty people, of whom nine were injured, and five were handed over to medics. At the same time, in the Podilskyi and Desnianskyi districts, the fragments fell on open territory, but without ignition or serious damage.
As previously reported, due to the complex energy situation in Kyiv, the metro train schedules will be changed. Information about the changes in traffic can be found at stations and also through the official pages of the Kyiv City State Administration and the metro.
Thus, as a result of Russian aggression against energy facilities in the Sumy region, emergency outage schedules have been introduced, affecting ten groups of consumers. Kyiv has also suffered from enemy attacks, resulting in damage to buildings and adjustments to the metro operation schedule.
