On the plane of Azal airline from Azerbaijan, which crashed in Kazakhstan, numerous holes were found on the fuselage. Additionally, the aircraft's control systems were non-operational for more than 50 minutes before its fall. This was reported by Baza, referencing information from Aktau airport.

The plane collided with birds and sent a distress signal at 8:35. After that, a gas cylinder exploded on board, and the control systems failed. The captain requested to land at Aktau airport.

However, it was impossible to control the plane. When the aircraft approached the shore, the captain made several turns but could not create a configuration for landing at the airport. Therefore, he decided to land on a prepared site. But at 9:29, the plane made a hard landing, resulting in the front part being torn apart and catching fire, but the tail remained intact.

In the videos that spread online, holes resembling impact traces are visible on the wreckage of the plane.

An Embraer plane flying from Baku to Grozny crashed at Aktau airport. On board were 67 passengers and 5 crew members. Among them were 37 citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 Russians, 6 citizens of Kazakhstan, and 3 citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

Rosaviation claims that the reason for the air crash was a collision with birds. It is also reported that an oxygen cylinder exploded on board the plane, leading to some passengers fainting.
