As reported, Rosaviation named the preliminary cause of the air crash: a collision with birds. “Preliminarily: after a collision with birds, due to an emergency situation on board the aircraft, the commander decided to “go” to a reserve airfield - it was chosen as Aktau,” the message says. It is also reported that an oxygen cylinder exploded on board the crashed plane, after which people began to lose consciousness.
Later, the head of Rosaviation Dmitry Yadrov first commented on the plane crash in Aktau. According to him, one of the main reasons for the air disaster was dense fog and lack of visibility at an altitude of 500 meters. “The captain of the aircraft made two attempts to land the plane in Grozny, which were unsuccessful”
By the way, the head of the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation Andriy Kovalenko stated that the Embraer 190 plane crash in Kazakhstan was caused by a Russian anti-aircraft missile system (SAM). According to him, the plane was damaged due to the actions of the Russian military and was sent to Kazakhstan “instead of immediately landing in Grozny and saving lives.”
