Autogas at 40 Hryvnias: Experts Predict Sharp Price Increase at the Beginning of 2025.
Experts warn of the expected rise in the cost of autogas at the beginning of 2025. Already now, the price of fuel exceeds 35 Hryvnias per liter, and some gas stations have even set the price at 37 Hryvnias. According to specialists, starting from January 1, 2025, with the increase in excise duties, prices for liquefied gas may increase further and reach the level of 40 Hryvnias per liter.
Specialists warn that such a sharp increase in prices may significantly affect the fuel choice of Ukrainians. Already now, the demand for autogas is decreasing due to the loss of its economic viability. Therefore, car owners with gas equipment will need to look for alternative and more traditional fuels such as gasoline or diesel.
The increase in excise taxes and constant price growth have made autogas less advantageous for drivers who previously used it. This causes significant changes in the fuel market in Ukraine.
Changes in fuel prices in Ukraine were reported earlier, offering three possible scenarios.
