Azerbaijani Delegation Visits Kyiv
According to UATV: A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Alibala Maharramzade, traveled to Kyiv to advance cooperation between Ukraine and Azerbaijan. During the visit, representatives from both nations highlighted their solidarity and emphasized the importance of restoring territorial integrity. Maharramzade heads the working group on interparliamentary relations with Ukraine within Azerbaijan's National Assembly.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ukraine, Seymur Mardaliyev, also took part in discussions on key bilateral issues. Both countries consider the restoration of territorial integrity a fundamental priority, as they face shared challenges, including those stemming from territorial conflicts.
“Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities does not bring peace closer,” said Alibala Maharramzade.
Having endured a war that lasted nearly 30 years, Azerbaijan has expressed support for Ukraine in its fight to restore territorial integrity. Delegation member Erkin Gadirli stated: “As Azerbaijan, as a country, we fully support Ukraine in its struggle to restore territorial integrity.” These remarks underscore Azerbaijan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and jointly pursuing justice.
