According to inkorr.com:

The detectives of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in Kyiv reported suspicions against six individuals who organized a network of illegal online casinos and betting resources. The turnover of this scheme amounted to approximately 83 million UAH. The group created and managed websites that allowed gambling without licenses and state control. A p2p transfer system was used to accept bets and pay out winnings. The organizers of the network had 'offices' in Kyiv, Poltava, Odesa, and Kharkiv, where they controlled the flow of money. Every day, the cash turnover reached at least 5 million UAH.

Detection of Counterfeit Apple Products

The detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security discovered a group of individuals in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast who traded counterfeit Apple products imported from China. The suspects bought counterfeit goods and sold them online and through Instagram, delivering across Ukraine via postal operators. Experts found that the counterfeit products were of low quality, and the labeling and packaging did not meet standards. The sale of fakes caused damages to the Apple company amounting to over 24 million UAH.

Criminal Schemes

The police uncovered two criminal schemes: one related to illegal gambling on the internet and the other to the sale of fake Apple products. Both cases resulted in significant financial losses for the victims. Further investigative actions may lead to the arrest of the suspects and their subsequent court hearings.

These investigations highlight the relevance of the issue of combating illegal gambling and the sale of counterfeit products in Ukraine. The actions of law enforcement agencies aim to protect consumers and genuine producers, as well as to reduce the influence of criminal structures on the market. It is expected that the exposure of such schemes will improve the situation in these areas and prevent the spread of similar criminal practices.
