Berdyansk Direction: Expert Analyzed the Likelihood of Defense Breakthrough.
The situation on the Berdyansk direction of the front is stable, the Russians did not break through the defense, - expert
Oleksandr Musiyenko, head of the Center for Military-Legal Studies, spoke about the situation on the Berdyansk direction of the front.
The expert emphasized that the Ukrainian defense on the Berdyansk direction and other sections of the front is stable and the Russians have not been able to break it. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully holding back the enemy, there are no losses or catastrophes.
Musiyenko noted that the containment operation involves holding certain positions as long as there are possibilities for this. In case the enemy has a significant advantage, a decision is made to retreat to more protected lines and continue containment. In this way, maximum losses are inflicted on the enemy.
The expert assesses the potential of the Russian forces as limited. He noted that the Russians on the Berdyansk direction can only count on tactical successes and do not have the possibility to occupy new territories, such as the Dnipropetrovsk region, Dnipro, or Zaporizhzhia.
According to Musiyenko, the Russian occupying forces have not made significant progress in their advance.
