Free tickets from Ukrzaliznytsia: you will have to pay for bedding, tea, and coffee.

According to ТСН: A free ticket under the program "3000 kilometers in Ukraine" does not include bedding as well as tea and coffee.

The director of the "Passenger Company" branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" Oleg Holovashchenko commented on this information, noting:

"So, we can take the first lower seat, and choose, the ticket price is 0 hryvnias. Further, since you are already registered, we choose you, and here it is important to pay attention. In order for it to be free, you have to keep in mind that bedding, tea, and coffee are not provided for free."

In response to a journalist's question about the need to pay extra for bedding, Holovashchenko replied:

"For bedding, for tea, and for any other services, you pay extra."

It should also be noted that recently "Ukrzaliznytsia" launched a pilot version of the free travel program "3000 km in Ukraine".

This initiative of "Ukrzaliznytsia" aims to encourage more people to travel around Ukraine; however, passengers should plan for extra payments for additional services such as bedding and drinks. It is important that they are aware of the program's conditions so that misunderstandings do not arise during the trip.
