What Transportation Benefits are Available to UBD
According to legislation, military personnel with UBD status are entitled to free travel:
- on all types of urban passenger transport;
- on public transport in rural areas;
- on suburban rail and water transport;
- on buses of suburban and intercity routes, including intra-regional, intra- and interregional routes, regardless of distance and place of residence.
Combatants can use free travel or travel at a discount once during a certain period of time.
What to Do if UBD is Denied Discounted Travel
The algorithm of actions in case of denial of discounted travel is explained by the specialists of the 'Honcharenko Center'. Among the recommendations is to pay for the ride and request a ticket, record the name of the transport company and contact the police.
