According to Novyny.live: An unmanned aerial vehicle crashed and exploded on a children's playground in Lviv on January 15, near a monument to Stepan Bandera. The explosion caused significant damage to nearby structures, shattering windows in several buildings. Despite the severity of the incident, there were no fatalities or injuries. A tractor driver clearing snow in the area where the drone fell did not require medical attention. This event highlights the ongoing risks to civilian infrastructure in Ukraine.
The blast damaged a building belonging to the polytechnic university, as well as residential houses close to the epicenter. In response, city authorities temporarily closed traffic on Myropolyta Andreya and Sheptytskoho streets. Trolleybus routes number 27, 32, and 38 were also suspended for a time.
