U.S. Secretary of State Travels to Israel and Other Middle Eastern Countries

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has traveled to Israel and other countries in the region to reaffirm commitment to the security of the Jewish state and discuss ways to achieve peace. This information was conveyed by the Deputy Spokesperson of the U.S. State Department, Vedant Patel.

"The Secretary of State will travel to Israel and other Middle Eastern countries," noted Patel.

During the visit, Blinken will reaffirm the United States' unwavering commitment to Israel's security and emphasize the advancement of a durable peace for Israelis and Palestinians. He will also discuss opportunities for ending the war in Gaza, freeing all hostages, and expanding humanitarian aid.

In parallel, Blinken will discuss ways to achieve a diplomatic settlement between Israel and "Hezbollah" in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1701. He will also reaffirm the United States' commitment to work with regional partners to reduce tensions and ensure stability.
