Bloomberg: Trump aims for ceasefire by Easter, while the EU prepares an unprecedented military aid package.

European leaders are preparing a defense package aimed at influencing Trump and ending the war in Ukraine. According to Bloomberg, the announcement of the new package will come after the elections in Germany to avoid political disputes before the voting.
Trump's administration has informed European officials that their goal is to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine by Easter. However, some politicians consider this unrealistic and see the possibility of resolving the conflict by the end of the year.
At a meeting of French President Emmanuel Macron with European leaders and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, discussions will focus on security guarantees for Ukraine and its active participation in negotiations with Trump.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated that a 'large package, unlike anything seen on this scale before' will be presented - a financial package to ensure the security of Europe, similar to the packages during the euro crisis and the coronavirus pandemic.
