A local resident was detained in the Odesa region for illegal fishing using nets. The man caught fish worth over 215 thousand UAH. Law enforcement officers detained him during fishing when the spawning ban was in effect.
The detention of the offender
According to inkorr.com: The detainee was found on a rubber boat along with nets and the catch. He did not have the necessary permits. During the inspection, 42 fish were seized, which were transferred for temporary storage to a specialized enterprise, as well as fishing gear and fishing nets 400 meters long. The total damage from illegal activities is estimated at 215 thousand UAH.
