Bryansk: drones attacked one of the largest microelectronics enterprises in Russia (video).
It is a completely natural target for the case of the drone attack on Bryansk on the night of April 27 to 28. The result of this was powerful explosions. This is reported by the portal 'Glavkom' citing local Telegram channels.
According to preliminary data, the enemy aimed at the 'Kremniy' factory, which produces electronics for the military needs of the occupiers.
The 'Kremniy El' factory in the Bryansk region is one of the largest microelectronics enterprises in Russia, currently employing about 1,700 people. It manufactures semiconductor devices, integrated circuits, and power modules, and also carries out orders from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, including air defense systems 'Pantsir' and missile complexes 'Iskander'.
According to Defence Express, this factory is of great importance for the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation, as confirmed by the investment volume - about $5.5 million annually since 2010. In 2014, the enterprise announced an eight-fold increase in production compared to 2000.
It is noteworthy that this factory has already been subjected to attacks on January 13 and 24, and also on March 24.
