According to The Sun: New passport rules have been in effect in Ukraine for seven years, and many people are still facing difficulties because of them. In 2018, the UK government updated the passport validity requirements after leaving the EU. Currently, passports must be valid for at least 10 years, and months from previous passports can no longer be carried over.

These changes have indeed affected millions of travelers, as incorrectly filled documents can lead to refusals at the border. Therefore, anyone planning to travel abroad is advised to update their passport information afterward to avoid problems during their journeys.
