Budanov revealed the plans of Russian troops in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov spoke about the enemy's plans on the front. According to him, the Russians plan to advance deep into the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Budanov said this in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to the head of the GUR, Russia has intensified its offensive operations on the front. In June, the Russians entered the Sumy region, trying to create a 'buffer zone'. They have also made gains in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions and are trying to advance into the Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to Budanov's assessment, the capture of the entire Donetsk region by Russian troops this year is unlikely. The Kremlin also plans to create a 'buffer zone' in the Dnipropetrovsk region at a distance of up to 10 kilometers.
Furthermore, the Kremlin has put forward a list of demands for a peace agreement with Ukraine. It should be noted that Budanov also expressed the possibility of a ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine by the end of 2025.
According to the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Russia plans to intensify its actions on the front, trying to advance into various regions of Ukraine, including the Dnipropetrovsk region. It is worth being vigilant and preparing for possible offensives.
