Budanov predicted what will happen in case of a complete occupation of Ukraine.
Ukraine and Poland – the next targets of Russia
Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov stated that if Russia manages to occupy Ukraine, its next target will be Poland. According to Budanov, after occupying Poland, the Kremlin will direct its efforts towards the Czech Republic and other European countries, as Russia has always sought to be an empire.
Budanov emphasized that Russia has always considered itself an empire, not a federation. And in order to preserve its existence, Moscow needs Ukraine, so the Kremlin will do everything possible to absorb our country through military, political, and social methods.
If the worst scenario happens, and three countries unite into one (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine - 'Glavkom'), then the next will be Poland. After that - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria. The countries of the Warsaw Pact are the minimum if an empire is formed.
Earlier, Budanov stated that the battles for Hostomel and Moshchun interrupted Russia's plans for a quick capture of Kyiv and affected the further course of the military operation.
It should be noted that Kyrylo Budanov predicted the ways of attack and the sequence of actions of the enemy three months before the start of the full-scale invasion.
