Budanov stated about critical dependence on the USA in data exchange.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov reported that cooperation between Ukrainian and Western intelligence agencies continues to develop. Information exchange with the USA plays an important role, particularly in early detection of missile launches and access to satellite imagery.
I see no signs that our cooperation in security services will cease. This is unprofitable for both us and our partners as they receive information from us.
In addition, Budanov called on Western allies to reconsider their attitudes towards traditional methods of intelligence gathering. He emphasized that technologies are important, but cannot fully replace people as a source of information even in a high-tech era.
It should be noted that cooperation between Ukrainian and Western intelligence agencies remains an important factor for the security and defense capabilities of both sides.
