IDF officially confirms elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
The report on the elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was officially confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). According to the report, "Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world".
With the spread of rumors about the possible death of Nasrallah as a result of an Israeli airstrike on Beirut, Iranian agency Tasnim News and AFP claimed that Nasrallah was alive. Meanwhile, the Israeli Channel 13 and CNN reported on the successful elimination of the Hezbollah leader.
The official confirmation of Hassan Nasrallah's death was made on September 28. Earlier, it was reported that Iran held an emergency meeting of the National Security Council amid rumors of the elimination of the Hezbollah leader by an Israeli airstrike, as well as the elimination of Hezbollah's supreme commander by Israel in the summer.
