Brigitte Macron may undergo a medical examination in the case against Candace Owens: details.
Fight Against Rumors
According to The Sun: The First Lady of France, Brigitte Macron, may be forced to undergo a medical examination to prove that she is not a man.
American conservative commentator Candace Owens may join this process, claiming that she will demand this procedure in the context of the lawsuit filed by Brigitte and her husband, President Emmanuel Macron.

Legal Proceedings
The French couple has filed a lawsuit against Owens after she made claims that Brigitte, 72, was actually born a man.
Owens stated on Monday:
“We will demand that Brigitte undergo an examination with an independent doctor. We will be seeking her medical records.”
The Macrons' lawyer, Tom Clare, told the BBC that the couple is preparing
“photographic and scientific”evidence that will refute Owens' claims.
Owens assures that she is willing to risk her reputation based on her gender claim about Brigitte.
The lawsuit was filed in Delaware in July, seeking unspecified damages from conservative influencer Candace Owens.

The case is currently in its initial stages, and the parties have yet to meet in court. Lawyer Clare noted that Owens' statements have greatly upset the First Lady and have become
“a distraction”for President Macron.
Responses and Counterattacks
In court, scientific evidence is likely to be presented, including photographs of Brigitte during pregnancy.
Owens also noted that she may demand even more invasive procedures to confirm Brigitte's gender identity. She said in an interview:
“This is not France, where Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron can do whatever they want. This is America.”
French President Emmanuel Macron denies that his wife Brigitte was born a man.

The Macrons claim that Owens spread false information about Brigitte's gender at birth, contradicting the available evidence.
The lawsuit highlights the vast reach of her statements, considering nearly 7 million social media followers and over 4 million on YouTube, and seeks unspecified damages.
They also noted that Owens uses this false claim to boost her popularity and gain money.
Situation Development
Owens filed a motion to dismiss the case, claiming she should not be heard in Delaware. She also noted that compelling the defense of her rights there creates
“a significant financial and operational burden”.
Owens insists that she believes in her statements and defends them as freedom of speech. She remarked:
“In violation of the sacred principle of US Constitutional law, the President and First Lady of France… have filed a baseless defamation lawsuit against an independent American journalist.”
Rumors about Brigitte's gender at birth emerged in France following a publication in the far-right magazine Faits et Documents in 2021.

Bloggers Natacha Rey and Amandine Roy spread these rumors in an extensive YouTube interview, claiming that Brigitte was born a man named Jean-Michel Trognieux and previously had no children. The Macrons sued Rey and Roy for defamation in Paris but won the case in 2024.
However, this year an appeals court overturned that decision, citing freedom of expression, and the Macrons are currently appealing this ruling.
President Macron has firmly denied these claims, calling them
“false and fabricated.”
On International Women’s Day, he noted:
“The worst is false information and fabricated scenarios. People eventually believe it.”
This situation has become an important topic in society as it raises questions about freedom of speech, the reputation of individuals in public positions, and the ability to seek protection from defamation. The Macrons' lawsuit is likely to draw attention to how public figures react to such statements and what legal frameworks exist to protect personal dignity.
