Czechia is providing Ukraine with half a million large-caliber artillery shells by the end of 2024. This was announced by the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský at a joint briefing with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv. He noted that this supply is part of a special initiative to support Ukraine from Czechia.
The minister emphasized that 500 thousand large-caliber shells will be delivered by the end of the year, and Czechia will continue to provide the necessary support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also confirmed Prague's position on supporting Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and the importance of protecting and integrating the country into the EU and NATO.
