Recruitment Centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Received Thousands of Requests: Which Region Leads.
As of October 20, 2024, the recruitment centers of the Ukrainian army have processed 21,910 requests from citizens.
Last week, 956 new applications were received, and 5,415 people are already being considered as potential candidates for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Defense.
Kharkiv region leads in the number of requests, accounting for 17.3% of the total. It is followed by Dnipropetrovsk region (15.9%), the city of Kyiv (14.9%), Zaporizhzhia (12.8%), and Lviv (11.7%) regions.
Last week, new recruitment centers were opened in Kostopil, Rivne, and Lutsk, Volyn, increasing the total number of such points to 44 nationwide.
It is important to note that recruitment centers do not issue summonses, and all consultations are conducted confidentially.
It should be reminded that Ukraine will continue basic training of mobilized individuals: how the terms will change.
