Medical and Social Expert Commissions in Ukraine may receive new working regulations. The bill regulating their activities is now ready for adoption. This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, Ihor Kuzin, in an interview with BBC Ukraine.

Kuzin noted that there is a concept for the development of the Medical and Social Expert Commissions system, and there is already a draft law that should have a positive impact on their work. "We hope that after its adoption, improvements will be made to the system," Kuzin said.

In addition, the Deputy Minister of Health noted that all issues related to combating corruption are resolved by the Ministry of Health together with law enforcement agencies: "We respond to reports and complaints even before they become public."

Kuzin also noted that the number of complaints about the work of Medical and Social Expert Commissions has increased due to the growth in their workload.

"Together with law enforcement agencies, we have already processed almost 19 thousand cases to stop any possible instances of corruption," Kuzin emphasized.
