Apple prices in Ukraine hit seven-year records.


Apple prices in Ukraine continue to rise due to a reduction in the supply of winter varieties in the market. Demand remains high, which stimulates price increases, reports EastFruit. Currently, prices range from 17 to 25 UAH/kg ($0.41-0.61/kg), which is 13% higher than last week. These prices are the highest in the last 7 years.
The supply of quality apples is limited, so many producers simply store them and wait for further price increases. As a result, apple prices are currently 54% higher than at the same Time last year. Despite this, demand for apples remains stable, which may encourage sellers to raise prices even more next week.
We remind you that prices for eggs and some other food products will also increase slightly on the Ukrainian market.
