Prices for potatoes, onions, carrots in stores and markets: how much does a borscht set cost.

Ukrainians were shown how the prices for vegetables for borscht differ in supermarkets and markets.

According to the portal Minfin, the capital market and the Odessa market "Pochatok", prices for popular vegetables, particularly those for borscht, have noticeably increased recently. Borscht is not only a traditional dish but also very popular, so the price increase is especially noticeable for Ukrainians. Vegetables usually added to borscht include potatoes, onions, carrots, beets, and cabbage.

However, it is worth noting that vegetable prices in supermarkets and markets often vary. Therefore, we will show you where you can buy these products cheaper.

Supermarkets

A kilogram of young potatoes costs an average of 41.50 UAH. See the statistics below for where exactly you can buy potatoes cheaper.

Carrots cost 23.19 UAH per kg.

The price of white onions is 33.15 UAH per kg, onions cost 17.22 UAH per kg, and blue onions - 30.25 UAH per kg.

A kilogram of beets in supermarkets costs 16.70 UAH.

The price for young cabbage ranges from 38 to 45 UAH per kg. White cabbage is sold from 22 to 25 UAH per kg.

At the capital market, potatoes cost from 20 to 26 UAH per kg.

At the Odessa market, old potatoes cost from 22 to 28 UAH per kg at wholesale price. At the usual price, old potatoes cost from 30 to 40 UAH per kg.

The wholesale price for white cabbage is 35 UAH per kg. The usual price ranges from 40 to 45 UAH per kg.

Young carrots cost from 35 to 45 UAH per kg. The wholesale price is 30 UAH per kg.

Table beets at wholesale cost from 15 to 19 UAH per kg, and the usual price ranges from 35 to 45 UAH per kg.

Regular onions can be purchased from 25 to 30 UAH per kg, salad onions - from 50 to 80 UAH per kg, Crimean onions - from 80 to 100 UAH per kg.
