Forecasts for meat prices remain uncertain. According to expert Yevgen,
“prices could go up or drop slightly”, pointing to potential market fluctuations in the near future.
As of March 2026, the meat market situation stays relatively stable, suggesting that both consumers and suppliers have adapted to the new conditions. Notably, despite higher prices, demand for meat remains steady, and no significant supply disruptions have been observed.
The rise in Odesa meat prices, triggered by increased logistics and fuel costs, may reflect broader economic trends in the region. However, given the absence of shortages and consistent demand, the market continues to adjust to these changes. This resilience in consumer spending, even amid price swings, offers some reassurance to both buyers and sellers in the short term.
