The verdict against the man who ran over the leg of a soldier from the Territorial Recruitment Center was delivered in Chernihiv. The court ruling consists of three years of restriction of freedom with a probation period of one year.

On May 19, 2025, near one of the supermarkets in the city on Chornovol Street, a representative of the TCC discovered during the verification of the man's military ID that he was wanted. The officer of the mobilization department then informed the man that he needed to go with them to create a protocol for an administrative offense. However, the man refused to comply with this request and began to move the vehicle, running over the soldier's leg.

In court, the defendant confessed to his guilt and was found guilty of charges or violence against an official. The court took into account the position of the victim, who withdrew the civil claim and asked that the defendant not be deprived of his freedom. The man also transferred 20,000 Hryvnias to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The court decided to punish the defendant with three years of restriction of freedom but exempted him from imprisonment with a probation period of one year. He was also obligated to report to the probation authority and inform them of any change of residence.
