Denmark mobilizes the business community in response to Trump's threats regarding Greenland.


The Danish government has reacted to statements made by US President Donald Trump regarding Greenland. Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen organized a meeting with leading business representatives to discuss the situation. Earlier, Trump threatened to apply military and economic pressure to gain control over the Arctic territory.
The US President's visit to Denmark was canceled as the Danish government expressed outrage over Trump's statement. During a 45-minute phone call, Frederiksen emphasized the importance of aspects such as Greenland's right to determine its own future, ensuring security in the Arctic region by Denmark, and the contribution of Danish companies to the US economy.
Danish Minister of Trade and Industry Morten Bodskov highlighted the significance of constructive dialogue with the business community amid rising tensions. He noted that maintaining cooperation and open dialogue between countries is an important task.
