DBR investigates incident with fighter jet: a projectile destroyed a house in Volyn.
According to inkorr.com: The State Bureau of Investigations has launched a criminal proceeding due to an incident that occurred on September 11 when a Ukrainian fighter jet released a projectile that hit a residential building in Volyn.
According to preliminary data, during the flight of the fighter jet there was an unauthorized release of the projectile, which struck a private residential house. As a result of the explosion, the building was completely destroyed.
Fortunately, at the moment of the explosion, the house was empty, so there are no casualties among the residents. Currently, a special DBR group is working at the scene to conduct an investigation. The investigation is being conducted under part 2 of article 416 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which concerns violations of flight rules or their preparation.
The situation in the village of Kopyllya
Recently, a similar incident also occurred in the village of Kopyllya in Volyn: a projectile fell from a Ukrainian military aircraft and destroyed a residential building. Witnesses noted that the plane was flying too low and changed course towards Belarus, which led to the destruction of the dwelling where the parents of the deputy head of the local police lived.
According to the data from the last day, 195 combat actions were recorded. Enemy forces attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas from the air, using 147 guided bombs and carrying out 4919 shellings, including from multiple launch rocket systems.
The Volyn village became the site of a dangerous incident when a fighter jet released a projectile that led to its complete destruction. Fortunately, no one was harmed as the house was empty at the moment of the explosion. A similar situation had already occurred in the village of Kopyllya, where a projectile fell from a plane and destroyed a residential building. These cases raise serious questions about the safety of military aviation flights and the risks of projectiles falling on civilian objects.
