Lviv Region Collected 6.5 Million UAH in Tourist Tax: Which Locations Are the Most Popular.

The Lviv region continues to maintain its position as one of the most attractive tourist regions in Ukraine. According to the Youth and Sports Department of Lviv Regional State Administration, the tourist tax in July amounted to over 6.5 million UAH, surpassing the figures from June.

As reported by Roman Khimiak, head of the Youth and Sports Department of Lviv Regional State Administration, Lviv ranks second in Ukraine according to state statistics for the first half of the year.

According to Khimiak, success is a collective result of businesses, tour operators, and local governments.

'According to the State Statistics Service, Lviv region ranks second in Ukraine based on the results of the first half of the year. This is a joint effort of businesses, tourist destinations, government bodies, and local communities. We want to highlight and tell about the most dynamic areas.'

Top-3 Leaders Among Tourist Locations in Lviv Region

The National Nature Park 'Skole Beskids' confidently holds the first place this summer, with 72 thousand tourists visiting in July. The second place is the State Historical and Cultural Reserve 'Tustan', which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

'If in July this year the number of visitors was 26 thousand, then 15 years ago, there were just over 5 thousand guests for the entire year. This shows how dynamically the market is developing and the quality of services is improving.'

The third place is taken by the Museum 'Drohobychyna', which has also become a popular tourist destination this summer.
