Some categories of internally displaced persons in Ukraine have received priority rights for compensation for destroyed real estate. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Tax Committee Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The draft law on compensation for internally displaced persons for destroyed real estate was supported by the Verkhovna Rada on December 4. 288 deputies voted for it.
According to the new draft law, priority rights for receiving compensation for destroyed real estate are given to the following categories of IDPs:
- persons who have reached retirement age;
- persons who care for a child under the age of six;
- persons who raise a child under 14 years old without one spouse;
- persons who have two or more children;
- single mothers or fathers raising a minor child without a father or mother;
- persons with a disability of the III group;
- persons who care for a child under the age of 6, are adoptive parents, guardians, custodians, foster parents, or adoptive parents;
- persons who have a child suffering from severe illnesses.
Earlier, it was reported in the Rada about payments for IDPs in 2025.
